Pick Up Girls 3 - Mistakes Every Guy Makes

When trying to pick up girls guys will do many things wrong initially.  There are, however, a couple things that keep coming up that I see over and over again.  We’re going to cover those 3 problems and how you can go about fixing, or even better, avoiding them all together.

Problem #1: The conversation topic you start on is the one you finish on.

I saw this last night actually, a friend of mine was talking to this girl so I went and grabbed a drink.  I came back 10 minutes later and they were still on the same topic – the interaction had gone virtually no where.  Five minutes later the conversation ended and that was all she wrote.  You can probably see the problem quite clearly here: if it isn’t helping you advance the pick up – switch topics.

Now we’ve all been there, the run on conversation about the same thing for an extended period of time, all the while knowing in the back of your mind that the interaction is slowly dying.  Do your best not to let this happen.  If you’re talking with a girl about something completely irrelevant to your interests or furthering the pick up, switch it to something that will.

For example, if she won’t give you a second to change the subject simply go: “hey hey hey, who do you like more guys with brown eyes or guys with blue eyes?” and run from there. Then you can switch the subject to something more sexual with more of a direction.

Problem #2: Not getting physical in the first few minutes.

Wow is this one common!  You know you’re supposed to get physical from the get go but you find it kind of awkward at first, well here’s the truth: the longer you wait the more awkward it gets. 

Think about it from her position: a cool guy comes talk talks to you, but doesn’t escalate and doesn’t touch for a while, then all of a sudden starts getting handsy – WEIRD!

Solution: right off the bat shake her hand, give her a hi five, pull her in beside you in the “isn’t she great” way.  A few minutes in, tickle her, tease her, push her.  Got it? Cool.

Problem #3: Lack of isolation.

It makes it far more difficult then it needs to be when her friends are within arms reach.  She will be more confined and will often put up shields because of this.  In order to have the most success with women you need to isolate them.  Here’s how:

“Hey, come grab a drink at the bar with me.”

“Come over here, I want to tell you something.”

“You don’t really look like the dancing type!”

You get the idea.  Say whatever you want, be creative, all that matters is that it gets you two alone.

Keep these common mistakes in mind – they will save you a whole bunch of trouble and frustration when trying to pick up girls.
